A message of life:
God loves you.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
We are all sinners.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:23
The penalty for sin is death.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23
Jesus Christ loves you enough that He paid that penalty.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
You can be saved.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:13

It’s a cold winter in Forest Grove: inside and out.
Jeff Thompson never imagined that starting a children’s choir would be a contentious issue when he became the pastor of Forest Grove Church. He quickly realizes that that is just the start of his problems as he comes face to face with the hard-hearted and stubborn community of Forest Grove. Can God really change a community so set in its ways? Does He really have a purpose for bringing Pastor Thompson to a church as cold as the bitter winters it weathers?
Join us December 17th for a special night of music and hope with the Christmas cantata, Then Jesus Came.

We're so glad you're here!
Southeast Baptist Tabernacle is a home for your whole family. We are a church striving to explore God's truth, experience His grace and express His love.
Our worship services use traditional music and straightforward, Bible-filled preaching. You will find that SBT is comprised of ordinary people who serve an extraordinary God. We have a seat saved for you!
Our heart for our guests is that you would feel welcome and comfortable as you join us in learning more about our God.
We understand visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. We don't have a fancy dress code and we won't embarrass you. Meet us at the welcome center at our main entrance and we'll direct and answer any questions you may have.
Wherever you're at in your journey with God, we'd love to help you reach the next stage.
