Southeast Baptist Tabernacle is a community of believers in Jesus Christ, firmly committed to the truths of God’s Word and grace. Our desire is to cultivate a family atmosphere where we can all grow in grace. We are located on the Southeast side of Indianapolis, Indiana. We want to make your first visit to SBT a great one! Either by joining us in one of our services or joining us online.
Expect a friendly Welcome!
When you come to Southeast Baptist Tabernacle, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, caring environment by people who are genuinely glad to see you. Our services last about an hour, are filled with great music, and include an inspiring teaching from the Bible. Upon entering the front doors of the main building, there will be someone at the Welcoming Center to guide you to the appropriate service, class, or activity.
What to expect when I arrive at SBT?
Sunday Services
9:30am Sunday School classes. Join us in interactive groups that are tailored for specific age groups or interests
10:45am Church Service in the Sanctuary. A special time for corporate worship, Biblical instruction, and fellowship
6:00pm Come back on Sunday evening for another time of worship, biblical instruction, fellowship, and prayer.
Wednesday Services
11:00am Morning mid-week Bible lesson and prayer time
7:00pm Evening mid-week Bible lesson and prayer time
7:00pm AWANA kids’ program for children (3 years old to 6th grade)
What time are the services at SBT?
You will find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Worship service. At SBT, it is not about what you look like or what you wear. Dress in what is comfortable for you.
What do I wear?
There are various children’s programs are available for Infants through 6th Grade during both the morning and evening services. There will be someone at the Welcoming Center who can guide you to the right youth organization.
Nursery – Parents can utilize the nursery ministry with peace of mind knowing their child is in a safe and caring environment, enabling them to enjoy each service at SBT
Children’s Sunday School – There are Sunday School classes tailored for children (3year old – 6th grade)
SBTeens – Through various lessons and activities, the teenagers are encouraged to focus their attention on God and REFLECT Christ in their lives. SBTeens meet every Sunday morning at 9:30am and every Wednesday night at 6:45pm
What about my kids?
Yes, you can watch video of past services HERE. You can also watch live video streams of the current sermons on both Facebook and YouTube.
I missed the Worship service, is there a way to watch it online?
