2016 Short-Term Mission to Belize!
Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are a Short-Term Mission Team to Belize, comprised of six adults and nine teenagers. We all attend or minister to teens in the youth group at Southeast Baptist Tabernacle in Indianapolis.
We will be assisting New Hope Baptist Church in Hopeville, Belize, Central America.
We fly out of Chicago (bright and early!) on Monday, May 30th. We will be returning one week later, on Monday, June 6th.
We will be helping Troy and Suzannah Lewis. Our church has supported their family since they left for Belize in 2014.
We will get the chance to host a Hotwheel Race Day, canvas for the church, preach, sing, and perform skits. Our primary goal is to serve with the Lewis family and share the gospel with the people in Belize.
What Can You Do?
We are grateful to be able to tell you that God has miraculously provided for our trip financially. We have also received so many generous donations for people in Belize and for the activities we will be conducting there. But, we still need one more thing- Prayer! From you! The most important contribution you can make is prayer for our safety, ministry, and hearts we will be ministering to in Belize. Our greatest desire- the entire mission of our mission trip- is to make an impact for eternity!
You can stay updated here on our blog throughout our trip. We cannot wait to let you know all about this awesome opportunity!

Praying for safe travels there and back. Praying that God will be glorified and honored by those going on this trip. Matthew 20:26-28

Praying for God's hedge of protection to surround each one as they travel to Belize, in all efforts of their ministry while there, and as they travel home. Praying they will be blessed in their ministry, that hearts will be changed, souls will be saved, and all efforts will bring honor and glory for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Loved the commentary written by Heather and Rachel about showing a servants heart. We can never over serve one another. It doesn't matter the age we get, either. Praying that God will abundantly bless you all above all that you could even ask or think.

All days you have spent in Belize had been a good adventure for everyone. I am happy to see that you guys know each other already and they are all loving each other's company. It's true that a relationship is being formed if you spend time with people most of the time! The activities you did together were fun! How I wish I was part of the group too so that I can experience all these great things you guys just had.I am hoping to experience it as well anytime soon!
